J.E.D.I. Design Network: Justice Equity Diversity & Inclusion Hotline for Design Professionals is an online network and resource for design professionals dealing with injustice, inequity, and bias in the workplace. Focused specifically on racism and harassment, J.E.D.I. Design Network is a supportive peer network established to provide an open, confidential and safe place for professionals to seek assistance, connect and address the systemic issues that are present in every aspect of the design community. J.E.D.I. Design Network will compile resources for design professionals regarding ethics requirements, mental health and peer support opportunities in forums to share experiences, ask questions, and find allies. Through various platforms and submitted data, J.E.D.I. Design network is a forum to anonymously share experiences, ask questions and find allies while working towards more equity in and adjacent to the design community.
J.E.D.I. Design Network is made up of socially conscious design professionals, all connected to other professional networks, who are committed to supporting our peers by providing resources and points of connection to deal with racism and harassment in the design community. This platform will serve as a hotline or refuge to some, and we encourage those who submit their experiences to provide as much detail as possible about what they are seeking in order for the team to develop the resources our peers need most.
